How provider checks work
Each label names the specific check that passed and its date. A check is not a guarantee, and we never call anyone simply "trusted" or "safe".
- Business identityThe business exists and the person listing it represents it. Required before any profile is published.
- Professional registrationFor regulated work, such as law or accounting, registration with the relevant professional body. Regulated services stay hidden until this passes.
- Insurance evidenceWhere relevant, proof of cover for the work offered.
- Check dateWhen each check happened and when it expires. Expired checks disappear from profiles.
- First-hand reviewsComing later — only from people who completed a request, moderated, never bought or deleted on request.
